Made using this recipe. I have yet to find a recipe that Heidi has posted which I haven't liked. I was a bit skeptical at first because usually cookies call for butter at room temperature, but they turned out perfect!
I'm going to put ice cream in between them and freeze to make ice cream sandwiches!
oh yum, ice cream sandwiches. why did i never think of doing that before?
ReplyDeleteit was inspired by a trip to trader joe's. they were selling mini ice cream sandwiches and i calculated that for the price of purchasing them, i could make my own that would probably taste better! they were delish. if you wanted to be fancy you could even roll the edges in sprinkles or something. remember it for a kid's party down the road :)

ReplyDeletei agree, so much easier to make your own. i managed to avoid sweets for most of the pregnancy, but now that's all i want! i'm sure my body will forgive me this one lapse in good dietary judgment!
